NY Post Says Jimmy Fallon Has a Problem
The New York Post reported this weekend that insiders are talking about Jimmy Fallon and saying that he is out of control. They claim “sources say NBC is worried that Fallon’s drinking has become excessive.” Another unnamed source is quoted as saying Fallon deals with the stress of the Tonight Show by hitting the bottle.
There are allegations of over-partying, too much drinking, and implications that all of Fallon’s recent accidents may be related to the rowdy behavior. In the past few months, Fallon has ended up in the hospital twice with injuries to his finger- once for tripping on a rug in his kitchen, and another time while celebrating an honor bestowed by the Harvard Lampoon. The Post also mentions Fallon’s chipped front tooth which he says happened while trying to open a tube of scar repair gel.
Going further back, the article references some bar scuffles and fan videos that have come out over the years, and even goes back to the Saturday Night Live Days. In addition to the three recent accidents the post brings up a 2014 bar brawl, fans recording Fallon belting out a tune after a bar night, and doing shots before a benefit, which all seem perfectly normal to us.
