Norm Macdonald Show Announces Guests

Despite the quick cancellation of The Break with Michelle Wolf, and The Joel McHale Show With Joel McHale, we have very high hopes that the Lionsgate produced “Norm Macdonald Has a Show” is going to be the comedian-led talk show that breaks the curse and becomes a giant hit. Today, Netflix announced Norm’s season one guests and there are some big surprises. In the comedy world- two big “gets” with Lorne Michaels slated to appear on the show and controversial first season star Chevy Chase will also be a guest. Other big stars hail from the comedy realm and other places- David Spade, Michael Keaton, Drew Barrymore and Jane Fonda are on board, as are Judge Judy and director M. Night Shyamalan and Billy Joe Shaver.

All of the episodes were filmed on location at Sunset Bronson Studios in Los Angeles, thanks to ace location scout David Letterman.

No trailer yet, but based on the photos, it looks like we’re looking at a straight up, podcast-style interview show with no shenanigans. Think David Letterman’s new Netflix show in a studio instead of a theater.

The new series premieres on Friday September 14th exclusively on Netflix, when all 10 half-hour-long specials will be available at the same time for your binging pleasure.
