Nikki Glaser Goes Home

Bad news for Nikki Glaser, she is not going to be dancing with the stars anymore. She is the very first dancing celeb to be sent home this season but the news isn’t so bad. She joined the good company of a few other comedian celebs who got their feet cut off in week one. Both Penn Jillette, and Jeffrey Ross were sent home first in their seasons.

Glaser had tough competition in week one elimination, and according to the judges just couldn’t get her hips going in the right direction. She was competing with some beloved longtime nostalgia celebs like John Schneider from the Dukes of Hazard, America’s Sweetheart Mary Lou Retton, a very brave blind Paralympian, Jo from Facts of Life, and Demarcus Ware (who if we were going to keep watching this bizarre show, we would be backing to win it all).

But the good news is Glaser can return to back to a stage where she has a microphone,which is where every great comedian belongs- and though Glaser may not have a flair for ballroom dancing, she is one of the very best at what she does on stage in comedy clubs and theaters. She’ll also return to NYC to her morning job, host of You Up with Nikki Glaser on SiriusXM.

Glaser returns to New York tonight where she’ll appear on ABC’s Good Morning America Wednesday morning.
