Remember when the NFL filed a $1.5M lawsuit against MIA for flipping the bird during Super Bowl XLVI’s halftime show? They added $15.1M more to that claim. Their reasoning? That’s how much an advertiser would have paid for the total number of seconds she was on screen during that Super Bowl.
MIA’s defense? The FCC never fined anyone, and the NFL apparently had no issue with Jacko grabbing his junk or Prince stroking his guitar.
