NFL Dumps Its Dumbest Rule

The rule stating that a play can’t be reviewed if the coach throws a challenge flag after an automatically reviewed play has been dropped from the NFL rulebook. This is the rule that screwed Jim Schwartz and the Lions over when Justin Forsett ran for an 81 yard touchdown against them despite clearly being down about 20 yards into the play. It’s just one less thing to give Jim Schwartz a coronary.
