New York Plans To Save Us All By Banning the Sale of Large Sugary Drinks
NYC and it’s tiny nanny Mikey Bloomberg plans to enact a far-reaching ban on the sale of large sodas and other sugary drinks at restaurants, movie theaters and street carts. It’s all part of the “Soda! It’s The New Cigarette!” marketing campaign.
Bloomberg had this to say about his new proposed law, “I don’t know how in court you would challenge it,” said the mayor. “We’re not taking away any rights.” Well obviously Bloomberg, only the right for wanting more than 16 ounces of a sweet delicious beverage at a time if we’re outside our own home.
