New York Comedy Festival Ticket Sales Begin Wednesday

We literally just unpacked from travels to Montreal’s Just for Laughs comedy festival and attending the National Comedy Center’s week dedicated to comedy (more on that to come!) when the announcement arrived in our inboxes that ticket sales for our hometown New York City comedy festival begin this week!

Live comedy, it seems, never sleeps and thank god for that.

So here we are previewing the lineup for this year’s NYCF coming our way November 4th through November 10th, and the lineup is already so strong. Headlining theaters this week is a list of killer names. Town Hall will host Nate Bargatze, Jenny Slate, Kathleen Madigan and Vir Das. Tom Segura will headline the Beacon Theater as will Demetri Martin. Also at the Beacon- a live edition of Comedy Bang Bang with Scott Aukerman. Stephen Colbert will host a night of comedy with Late Show writers and producers at Carnegie Hall. Norm Macdonald is going to headline a series of shows at Caroline’s Comedy Club. And Trevor Noah will be the latest comedian to headline at Madison Square Garden. Bill Maher will host an evening at the Theater at MSG and the MBCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center will host a series of shows for the fest including The Jay and Silent Bob Reboot Road Show.

So much more will be announced in the weeks to come, but it’s a pretty exciting ensemble already and tickets are going to be available via pre-sale using the code NYCF starting Wednesday August 7th at 11am. Tickets go on sale to the public August 12, so that gives you five days to beat the rush and get the best seats possible!

See you in New York!
