New Releases From Kevin McDonald, Seaton Smith, Nore Davis, Adam Wade and Brooks McBeth

Comedy Dynamics, the largest independent comedy production and distribution company in North America has been busy releasing albums and specials from some great comics in September.
Seaton Smith released his first album, Seaton Smith: Bologna Meat on iTunes and Google Play today, September 18th. If you’re a fan of stand up then you know Seaton even if you haven’t had a chance to get to one of his live shows. He had a great role on the short lived sitcom Mulaney as John’s roommate Motif, and did a recent set on Late Night with Seth Meyers. You’ll also catch him all over comedy tv, with guest appearances on Inside Amy Schumer, Friends of the People, and in the movie Top 5. Smith’s album showcases his smart, unique view of the world.
Also available today, Kevin McDonald’s first solo album. You know Kevin for his brilliant sketch work as a founding member of The Kids in the Hall. Kevin McDonald: Making Faces gives MdDonald the chance to showcase his stand up skills and some solo sketch work, using the quirky voices, and oddball characters that made his KITH characters so amazingly funny.
On September 29th, comedian, writer and actor Brooks McBeth will release Joel McHale Presents Brooks McBeth: This Ain’t Shakespeare with special guest appearance by Joel McHale. The special was directed by Michael -Ryan Fletchall and was filmed in Seattle Washington at The Triple Door. Watch for the audio release a few days ahead on September 25th.
Adam Wade’s first album, Adam Wade: The Human Comedy was released earlier this month on September 11th featuring unique comedic storytelling by Wade. Wade is described as the everyman, from small town New Hampshire whose hopes and dreams lead him to absurd places. Wade recorded the album at Brooklyn’s infamous Bell House theater. His storytelling has been praised by The New York Times, the Village Voice, Newsweek, Time Out New York and New York Magazine, and he was featured in season 2 and 3 of Inside Amy Schumer. It’s an impressive first outting, and once you start listening you’ll be hooked and easily see why McHale has put his name on the album.
Nore Davis released his sophomore album, Away Game, on September 11th as a sequel to his first album, Home Game. In Away Game, Davis touches on issues of race, sexuality and family. With tracks like “Gay is the New Black” and “College is a Scam” you can get an idea for the kind of opinionated comedy you’re in store for. Nore has been a guest on Inside Amy Schumer, Boardwalk Empire, Russell Simmons Presents, and HBO’s Last Week Tonight, and he’s currently developing a series, In Between Nore Davis for Comedy Central. You can pick up his special on iTunes or Google Play.
