New Jersey Bans Smiling

No more smiling in drivers license photos in the Garden State. The state launched new face-recognition software in January and apparently smiling interferes with the computer’s ability to recognize faces. It took until September for anyone to figure this out because nobody in Jersey had even tried to smile all year.
