Netflix Mockumentary Trailer With Dizzying Title Features Stranger Things’ David Harbour

In this new mockumentary, join “Stranger Things” actor David Harbour in a dual role as he uncovers lost footage from his father’s televised stage play, “Frankenstein’s Monster’s Monster.”

What?

Unpack that.

Watch David Harbour explore the depths of his family’s acting lineage to gain insight into his father’s legacy in a 28 minute mockumentary featuring lost and found footage of his father’s televised stage play, Frankenstein’s Monster’s Monster, Frankenstein. It’s a quest for the truth for Harbour who also plays his father.

Netflix is promising an over-the-top and often dramatic(ish) reimagined tale of mystery and suspense in this upcoming mockumentary starring Harbour with appearances by Alfred Molina, Kate Berlant, and more special guests.

“Frankenstein’s Monster’s Monster” is not only the title of the comedic-and-over-dramatic- mockumentary it’s also the title of the fictional made-for-TV play that starred Harbour’s fictional father. Berlant appears in the found footage of that play along with Harbour Sr. There’s no point in trying to grasp the details here. Better to wait until the series launches in two weeks on July 16th, exclusively on Netflix.

Directed by Daniel Gray Longino (“Kroll Show” and “PEN15”) and written by John Levenstein (“Arrested Development” and “Kroll Show”),
