NAACP Joins the Fight Against New York’s Soda Ban
Along with the Hispanic Federation, the NAACP has joined up with the soda companies fighting Mayor Bloombergs giant soda ban in New York City. The NAACP is saying that the ban will hurt minority business owners and freedom of choice in lower income communities. They’re citing that the small business owners will be at a disadvantage against the bigger grocery chains. This is all well and good and a practical argument, except for the fact the Mike Bloomberg just doesn’t care what anyone thinks.
