MV Rena Grounding: A Year in Photographs

One year ago today a container ship ran aground off the coast of New Zealand. The link from the web site Gcaptain shows the ship gradually breaking apart and sinking as well as the efforts to salvage the cargo from her decks. It’s pretty dramatic. The Captain and second mate were sent to jail for roughly 7 months for their roles in the grounding.
