Mrs. Maisel Previews Season Two

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel exploded like the 4th of July after the series official 2018 debut, just rolling through the Emmy Awards ceremony scooping up statues. So of course, the next step is Season Two. It’s a year after her marriage fell apart inspiring Midge to get on stage, cross paths with Lenny Bruce, and upend the lives of her parents played by Tony Shaloub and Marin Hinkle.

Everyone’s back- even Joel- as Midge navigates her way through beautiful sets, a city fraught with misogeny and very low glass ceilings, and even the Lincoln Tunnel in 1958.

In the new trailer we see Mrs. Maisal try to handle her father who just wants to see her get married again, her new manager/agent who believes in her talent, her peers and audiences who aren’t used to seeing women on comedy stages, and we get another look at that nod to 1960’s comedian Rusty Warren. #TitsUp #knockersup

“Comedy is fueled by disappointment and humiliation,” Mrs. Maisal declares on stage in 1958.
