Mood-Sensing Smartphones Are Coming
Microsoft Research Asia is developing technology that would allow a smartphone to register its user’s mood and automatically share it with others using Facebook, Twitter, and other forms of social media. The prototype currently detects mood with 65% accuracy, but was able to sense with 93% accuracy after an individual was trained for 2 months to correct inaccurate mood detection.
