MLB Approves A Ban On Home Plate Collisions

Major League Baseball wants to ban base runners from charging into catchers at home plate to try to jar the ball loose. The ban won’t take effect until the players union approves it as well. Hopefully, the next thing to go will be the shaving cream pie celebrations.
