Mike Epps Tells Kimmel About Playing Pryor

This summer, it was announced that Mike Epps would be playing Richard Pryor in a biopic, but we haven’t heard much else about it, so Jimmy Kimmel Mike to fill us in on some details on Kimmel’s show last night. He didn’t say much, but he did say it’s going to be directed by Lee Daniels, and Oprah is playing the grandmother. And he’s excited about both things. Like most comics, Richard Pryor was (and is) an idol of Mikes. Mike also told Jimmy that when he was younger, he got to spend about a year with Pryor which will help him to be able to take on this role.
