Michigan lawmakers want to amend the state’s Liquor Control Act to make it illegal for bars to serve pints that aren’t truly 16 ounces. Bar owners are objecting saying that a “pint” is more of description than an actual measurement and they don’t want to have to buy new 16 oz glasses. Michigan realtors ran into the same problem when they were selling 4-bedroom homes that only had 2.
