Mekki Leeper Performed Stand Up on Late Late Show

Wednesday night, up and coming comedy star Mekki Leeper performed stand up on James Corden’s Late Late Show.

SNL alum Jon Rudnitsky just picked Mekki Leeper as the comedian most likely to break out in 2019 that we just put out.  “I think he’s got a very unique fun voice. He’s super young and already incredibly polished. He cracks me up he’s just hilarious,” Rudnitsky said.  He must know what he’s talking about cause Leeper killed on Corden.

The L.A. based Philly comic was one of JFL Montreal’s new faces, named a Comedian You Should Know by Vulture, and he wrote for the 2017 White House Correspondent’s Dinner.

On Coren, Leeper talked about being a nerd, growing up in a Muslim with white privilege in Christian household and navigating his parents’ divorce as an adult.
