A prison in Japan has a new cuddly mascot that wears a warden’s uniform and has a giant flower for a head. Katakkuri-chan is being introduced to lighten up the prison’s harsh image. Prison officials are hoping that Katakkuri-chan does better in general pop than their previous mascot, “Haruka, the Anime School Girl”.
