Marina Franklin’s “Single Black Female” Trailer Gets Exclusive Debut on Conan
Team Coco gave an exclusive first look at the trailer for their friend (and ours) Marina Franklin’s first stand-up special!
We’re so excited that “Single Black Female” will be available on July 23 through the Comedy Dynamics Network. Long overdue for an hour, Franklin is a national headliner and Comedy Cellar regular. She returned to her home town of Chicago to tape the hour last August at the Vic, and we’ve been dying to get a peek at it.

Marina’s got a stellar resume that includes “Conan”, HBO’s “Crashing”; the hit movie, “Trainwreck”; Stephen Colbert’s “Late Show”, the “Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore”, “Louie”, the “Jim Gaffigan Show”, Showtime’s “Women Who Kill”, and Comedy Central’s “Chappelle’s Show”. Marina’s writing credits include HBO’s “Divorce.”
