Man Who Entered Garden State Plaza Mall With a Gun, Found Dead

The man who entered the Garden State Plaza Mall with a gun last night wearing a motorcycle helmet and firing shots into the air has been identified as 20 Year Old Richard Shoop. He was found dead in the Garden State Plaza Mall around 3:20 am last night by police, who are saying he killed himself using a .22-caliber assault-style rifle legally owned by his brother. Nobody else was injured. A note was found but its contents have not yet been released. The mall will remain closed today.
