A hiker who was stranded in the Canadian wilderness after a bear destroyed his supplies was forced to eat his beloved dog. His pet German Shepherd chased the bear away before it was able to attack him. After 3 days without food, he killed the dog with a rock and ate it. Fortunately, he didn’t try the same thing with search party who also saved him.
