Luis Guzman And Finesse Mitchell Joining The Band On Showtime’s “Roadies” Pilot

Cameron Crowe starts shooting the pilot for his potential Showtime comedy “Roadies” this week in Vancouver. However in this new series about rock and roll, instead of the band, the story revolves around the crew working on global rock tour. And every band needs a tour bus driver and an accountant. For those parts, Crowe has cast Luis Guzman and Finesse Mitchell as guest stars on “Roadies”.
Guzman will play Gooch, the band’s tour bus driver who does more that get them to next gig on time. He’s also a sage who’s willing to share his stories and wisdom from a life on the road. Luis Guzman is character actor that everybody loves. He’s made nearly 130 films and television appearances including “Traffic”, “Boogie Nights”, “Magnolia” and “Carlito’s Way”.
Finesse Mitchell is best known as a cast member on Saturday Night Live. He’ll play Harvey the tour accountant who enjoys some side businesses that are off the books. Finesse just wrapped up his Fall Down Funny tour this week before production on “Roadies” begins.

The cast also includes Luke Wilson, Imogen Poots, Rafe Spall, Peter Cambor, and Keisha Castle-Hughes. Cameron Crowe wrote the pilot and will direct and executive produce it along with co-executive producer, J.J. Abrams.
