Lost Alzheimer’s Patient Shot Dead
A 72 year old Georgia man suffering from Alzheimer’s was killed when he became lost and confused and tried to enter a house a 4am. After he rang the doorbell several times, the owner called 9-1-1 and then went out to investigate and fired the gun when he saw the man. In a case of shoot first, diagnose later.
