Look Up. Asteroid Fly By Today

asteroid-flyby-trajectory_0NASA will be covering the fly by of 2012 DA14, better known as the 150 foot asteroid that will miss Earth by 17,150 miles.  The space agency will be doing commentary as the asteroid gets at it’s closest point starting at 2pm Eastern.  NASA will use animation and real time images from Australian observatories to show us the asteroid’s path.  Officials claim there is absolutely no danger or chance of the object hitting the Earth. But then, they always say that in the movies.
