Lincoln Gets A Retraction

lincolnThe Patriot-News of Harrisburg, about 35 miles northeast of Gettysburg, retracted a bad review of President Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address by its Civil War-era predecessor, The Harrisburg Patriot & Union. Back in 1863, the paper called the speech “silly”. The paper now says it regrets the error of not seeing the speech’s “momentous importance, timeless eloquence and lasting significance.” Good news Will Smith, it should only take another 150 years before reviewers change their mind about “After Earth”.
