Limestone Lineup Announced for June; Includes the Legendary Colin Quinn

Bloomington, Indiana is the place to be this Summer thanks to the awesome line up at the Limestone Comedy Festival. LCF has been around for half a decade as of this June and it’s grown into a formidable event. The LCF will span from June 1st to the 3rd and play host to a slew of screenings and live tapings as well as stand ups with awesome credentials. This line-up is a well-thought out strategy that could totally put a lesser known town like Bloomington on the map for comedy (in fact, the Limestone Fest has been doing just that since its inception).
The festival is the perfect ground for super strong up-and-coming acts. In addition to stand up from W. Kamau Bell (“United Shades of America”) and Hari Kondabolu (Totally Biased), the collaborators will share a live-taping of their podcast Politically Re-Active with audiences. Comedians across different generations will be there, meaning there’s more likely to be something for everyone. There’s “SNL” alum Colin Quinn (on the line-up as “the legendary Colin Quinn”), well-established late night comedian Fortune Feimster (“Chelsea Lately”), comics with appearances on network shows like Mary Mack and Billy Wayne Davis (“Conan”, “Last Comic Standing”), as well as younger acts with appearances more niche audiences will recognize like Jo Firestone (“The Chris Gethard Show”, “Don’t Think Twice”) and Janelle James (“@midnight”, Seeso’s “Night Train”). It’s awesome and totally logical that a Midwestern comedy festival would compile such a solid, well-rounded line up to appeal to locals and die-hards ready to travel to see their favorites.
