Levity Entertainment Launches YouTube Comedy Channel

Levity Entertainment launched a brand new venture to provide original content from the roster of comedians they manage and work with. The new YouTube Channel “Wait For It” will offer original comedy series via YouTube channel.

Levity Entertainment Group handles talent management, marketing and live performance. They own and operate the largest group of comedy performance venues in the country, including Levity Live Comedy Club in East Nyack New York, and the Hollywood Improv in Los Angeles. LEG also has produced over 100 comedy specials for artists like Cedric the Entertainer, Sebastian Maniscalco, Jenny McCarthy, Tracy Morgan, Trevor Noah, Amy Schumer, and Daniel Tosh.

With over 300 comedians to draw from, the company has plenty of talent to stock the content pool. Some of the planned series include a celebrity interview series hosted by comedian Nikki Limo, a musical search the internet series called “The Internet is Weird” with Owen Benjamin, and a Bert Kreischer series about being trapped in Amsterdam. Judging by the channel’s trailer, posted below, it also looks like you can also look forward to seeing Bobby Slayton getting a tattoo, Billy Gardell eats a sandwich, and we some stand up from comedians Jim Jefferies, Amy Schumer and others.

The first episodes of “Just Riffin” (with guest Todd Glass) and “The Internet is Weird” are already up on the channel. You can also watch “5 Things With Maz Jobrani” and two “Comedy Shots.”
