Is Chris Dorner’s wacked out killing spree over? The only truthful answer is no one knows right now. Here’s the information that’s been popping up online:

  • According to chatter on Reddit, whose users were listening to local police scanners, the Police were the ones who set the cabin on fire. They repeatedly referenced “burners” over their police band.
  • Chris Dorner was seen purchasing SCUBA equipment just in case the cops did try to burn him out. That’s yet another theory adding to his brilliant Bourne Identity bit, which the internet is getting too excited over.
  • There was a single shot before the fire started, lending to speculation he killed himself before it got bad. Then there are conflicting reports and theories saying the shot fired was the ammunition in the cabin heating up and exploding.
  • Another report has the police finding an RPG round in one of the homes Dorner was holed up in.
  • Yet ANOTHER report was that there were footprints in the snow leading out of the cabin implying Dorner has escaped yet again.
  • People are also pissed that the cops nixed all the news coverage surrounding this story and asked news outlets to not tweet about anything going on. Seems the police have been totally freaked out about Dorner’s ability to get information.

Is this even Dorner the cops were cornering? NO ONE HAS CONFIRMED THIS EITHER.

What’s been totally confirmed? Someone matching Dorner’s description killed another cop and one more was wounded. Those two sad facts are true. Is Dorner still out there? Is head burnt to a crisp? Was this Waco Part 2? We’ll have to wait for the dust to settle, the rumors to shake out, the false reports to be looked at, and see what the cops tell us.
