Leslie Jones Updates and Tops the ‘When Harry Met Sally’ Fake Orgasm
Leslie Jones was a triple threat last night in the Saturday Night Live season opener with three strong pieces including a Weekend Update piece giving texting/sexting relationship advice, and an American Voices looks back sketch with Jones starring as Ruby Nichols, one of the first late night talk show hosts in the 50’s in mostly csegregated Atlanta.
But Jones’ stand out sketch last night was an update on the infamous “When Harry Met Sally” scene in Katz’s Deli, when Jones’ character Rhonda terrifies her friends played by Vanessa Bayer, Miley Cyrus, and Cecily Strong by faking a few orgasms for fun.
Jones and Kate McKinnon, who were both heavily featured in last night’s SNL just wrapped shooting on the Paul Feig reboot of the Ghostbusters franchise. Ghostbusters hits theaters in July 2016.
