Laura Kightlinger Developing 70s Mom Series For HBO
Former SNL writer and cast member from Season 20, Laura Kightlinger is developing a new comedy series for HBO called “Quick Shots Of False Hope”. The series is based on her memoir of the same name. Deadline describes it as a period piece about “a 1970s-era single mom and her ongoing quest to find a husband, while still sleeping with her daughter’s married father.” Hot.
Kightlinger also appeared on and wrote for “Will & Grace”. She’s developing the HBO comedy with “Will & Grace” co-creator Max Mutchnick. Kightlinger is also a consulting producer on CBS’ “Two Broke Girls” and she played Tina on the Louis CK series “Lucky Louie”.
