The Kids in the Hall Support Red Nose Day

The Kids in the Hall Red Nose Day
Comedy Troupe The Kids in the Hall were in New York recording an episode of Unmasked last week at The Village Underground. Scott Thompson, Dave Foley, Mark McKinney, Kevin McDonald and Bruce McCullough all donned official red noses to show support for #RedNoseDay. This year is the first official year that Red Nose Day is being celebrated in the United States.
Red Nose Day started in England as a way for the country to come together to help multiple programs and charities that support impoverished children, and other children in need in the U.K. and around the world.
NBC and Walgreens are bringing that tradition here to the U.S. with a big three hour show on May 21st featuring stand-up, sketch comedy, music performances, and short films. The charities named that will receive aid from the Red Nose Day fundraising include Save the Children, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Charity: Water, Children’s Health Fund, Feeding America, Gavi, The Vaccine Alliance, The Global Fund, Lift, National Council of La Raza, National Urban League, Oxfam America, and the United Way.
You can join The Kids in the Hall, the Bennington show and The Interrobang in supporting Red Nose Day by buying your own red nose at any Walgreens store or visit RedNoseDay.org and watching the special event Thursday, May 21st on NBC.
