Jumpy Passengers Force An Evacuation At LAX

Passengers at an LAX terminal heard a car crash at an airport parking garage and mistook it for gun shots and started fleeing the area Friday night. Right after the crash, an anonymous call reporting a gunman at the airport prompted a large police response and an evacuation of a second terminal. About 2,000 people were evacuated. This happened exactly three weeks after a gunman killed a security officer and injured three other people at LAX airport.
