Comedy legend Jonathan Winters has passed away. He was a brilliant comedian, a terrific actor an author and a respected painter. In addition to his long list of film and television appearances, he created five comedy specials for Showtime, made 12 comedy records and won a Grammy in 1992 (he’d been nominated for 12 Grammys overall)
He was 87.

Jonathan Winters passed away of natural causes at his Montecito, California home at 6:45 p.m. PDT on April 11, 2013, surrounded by family and friends.
