John Turturro Wants To Bring Back Jesus Quintana

In news that has to thrill every fan of “The Big Lebowski”, John Turturro announced that he would like to reprise his role as Jesus Quintana.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Turturro told an audience at the Taormina Film Festival – “If I can get the permission I need, I’d like to return to that role.” Naturally the audience went nuts at the news. It’s believed that Turturro would like to make the film in 2015, and presumably direct himself as the flamboyant bowler in a purple jumpsuit and hairnet.
It wasn’t clear exactly who John Turturro needed permission from. It could be the Coen Brothers who directed “The Big Lebowski” or the production company that owns the rights to the film. Hopefully whoever it is won’t “fuck with the Jesus”.
