Jimmy Pardo Game Show Locks People In A Room For Science
Science Channel wants to add some action to its science television programming. The network announced new competition shows including a game show hosted by Jimmy Pardo. According to TV Insider, “Race To Escape” will feature two teams made up of three strangers who are trapped in a room together and must follow hidden science clues and solve problems to escape before the other team.
Rita Mullin, Science Channel General Manager talked about the new game show dealing with stress and emotions as much as science. She said, “It’s a bit of a psychology show. You see an interesting social dynamic different in every group of three. Who’s going to be the leader, who’s the game player? The clues they have to solve require both the contestants and viewers to think creatively. That’s why it fits very well in the new Science Channel.”
Jim Pardo is also the host of one of the longest running podcasts. “Never Not Funny” recently celebrated its 500th episode with Jimmy Pardo as host. He’s also known for his work on “Conan” including being Team Coco’s warm up guy.
