Jimmy Kimmel And Carson Daly Doing A Pilot For ABC
Two late night hosts are teaming up to produce a new sitcom. Jimmy Kimmel and Carson Daly have a pilot commitment from ABC to create a new series.
Not only is Kimmel producing the show, he’s also writing the pilot for it. This is brand new territory for him.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the series is about a popular VJ who loses everything and then moves back in with his parents and takes a job on the local radio station’s “morning zoo.” The premise is loosely based on Carson Daly’s career and life.
Kimmel and Daly have been friends since they worked together at L.A. radio station KROQ. Jimmy Kimmel hosts “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on ABC and Carson Daly does about everything at NBC, including hosting “Last Call”, “The Voice” and contributing to the “Today Show”.
