The Detroit Lions’ Calvin Johnson broke Jerry Rice’s single season record for receiving yards on Saturday night. With 225 yards against the Falcons, Megatron surpassed Rice’s record of 1,848 yards and now has a season total 1,892. This sets up next week’s match against the Chicago Bears defense, to see if Johnson can pick up another 108 yards to reach 2000.
