Is Anchorman 3 Already In The Can?

Director Adam McKay has so many alternate takes from the set of Anchorman 2, he’s already planning on releasing a totally recut version of the film, once it gets released for the first time. McKay had this to say:
“We did so much improv on this one that we can literally replace every single joke in the movie and put in alt scenes and alt improv runs. I think the editor’s working on it right now, with 250 new jokes.”
So even if you end up not liking Anchorman 2, know that you’ll be getting an entirely different movie a few months later on Blu-Ray.
