Interns Suing Condé Nast To Get Paid

Conde_Nast_Building_2Two interns are suing Condé Nast, claiming that they were paid less than $1 an hour while working at the company’s publications “W Magazine” and “The New Yorker”. Similar lawsuits have been filed by interns against Hearst Magazines, The Charlie Rose Show and Fox Searchlight Pictures. The Fox Searchlight lawsuit involved two unpaid interns who worked on the film “Black Swan”. They were in charge of getting meals for Natalie Portman and the company claims it really wasn’t that much work.
