The Interrobang Presents! Comedy 101 Live at the Village Underground!

Thanks to an enormously popular response to our last two live shows, The is excited to announce we are bringing Comedy 101 back to the stage in New York City.  The feedback on our last show was through the roof and we can’t wait to put together another round.

So it’s official! Our next Comedy 101 live show will take place on August 16th at The Village Underground in New York City.

The concept for Comedy 101 is simple: open mic meets a roast. Open mic comics hit the stage and try to tell a joke. A panel of three “mentors” who are some of New York’s fastest and funniest and most ruthless comics sit in judgment. If our open micers can’t make our panel laugh, and fast, they get interrupted with some “advice” and “tough love.”

The show will be hosted by the brilliantly funny  and Gail Bennington from SiriusXM’s Bennington Show, with our celebrity mentors to be announced plus a few special guests.

Last November, Comedy 101 debuted at the SiriusXM Family Thanksgiving Dinner at the world famous Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square to rave reviews with guest “mentors” , Luis J. Gomez, Dan Soder and Joe List who gave brutally honest advice. Advice like, “Wait, why did you do a joke with none of the jokes?” and “You should knock off the school shooter laugh, it’s throwing people off.”  In June, we packed out The Stand comedy club to its absolute limit with people trying to cram into the stairways and hallways just to catch a glimpse of the show with guest “mentors” Robert Kelly, Bonnie McFarlane and Rich Vos, and at least one of those judges got compared to Hitler, but you know, in a good way.

Don’t miss the chance to see Comedy 101 hit the stage at one of New York’s best clubs- The Village Underground on August 16 at 8pm. Doors open at 7:30. The Village Underground hosts some of the best shows in New York City (including the absolutely brilliant Comedy Underground Live with Dave Attell that aired on Comedy Central), and has been called “everything you want a great New York comedy club to be”. The Village Underground  is located at 130 W. 3rd Street off 6th Avenue in New York City.

Tickets are free, but limited, and you need to request them by emailing us at or you can submit your request directly below.  Submit your requests quickly, they will sell out! See you August 16 at the Village Underground!
