Hannibal Buress Remembers His Biggest Bomb
Hannibal Buress is having a ball. His career is going great, he’s doing commercials, getting paid to travel all over the world, and he’s promoting his new special, Comedy Camisado. Buress was on Jimmy Kimmel Live Thursday night, and explained that the main reason he named his special Comedy Camisado, was because he wanted to use a funny word, and calling it Twat Waffle Camisado was out of the question.
Buress told Kimmel about a night he’ll never forget, November 2014 in West Palm Beach. He got too drunk and had to do a show but didn’t realize that it was his own show. He said he got into the green room and saw all his favorite things there but couldn’t figure out why. At least now he has motivation for all future shows–don’t mess it up like West Palm Beach.
But first he talked about working in Japan and Dubai. He learned a few things– first, there’s a lot more Japanese people in Japan than he ever imagined, he can live on nothing but noodles, and people in Dubai are rich.
