A new survey of college students that asked them to describe men and women getting drunk, found that if a guy is clearly drunk – his drinking is described in terms like “wasted”, “hammered” and “plastered”. While women who were also drinking heavily, were described in more polite and gentle terms like “tipsy” and “buzzed”. It’s good to know for the next time you see a woman getting excrement-faced.
