Looks like one of the biggest mistakes in recent tv comedy history is about to be remedied. E Entertainment News is reporting that the prematurely cancelled HBO show “The Comeback” that starred Lisa Kudrow as Valerie Cherish is coming back to HBO for a limited six episode run. Production will begin in May.
HBO isn’t confirming the news — yet– but E! has heard from multiple sources that scripts are already in the works. The new episodes will pick up nine years after the series left off. Malin Ackerman, Kellan Lutz and Lisa Kudrow are all on board.
