Great Books for Kids

Scholastic’s Parent & Child magazine recently released a list of the 100 Greatest Books for Kids. If you have a little kid make sure you pick a book for them that YOU love. Seriously. Pay more attention to children’s book purchases than you do picking a new car. You may have to read this book a million times. If the kid loves the book and you hate it, torture. PURE TORTURE. You’ve been warned.

Here’s the top 10 listed.  Check out  mentalfloss.com for their top 11 with some great trivia about each one.  And you can see the whole top 100 at scholastic.com.
