Gilbert Gottfried Called Trump Hitler First

It’s become very popular these days to make comparisons between egomaniac Donald Trump and megolomaniac Adolf Hitler. Louis C.K. is the most recent person to make the comparison, and probably the most direct with his statements. Before C.K, Bill Maher and the former President of Mexico also likened Trump to Hitler, and they were by no means the only ones, just the ones that made the biggest headlines.
But before C.K., before Maher, before anyone else, there was Gilbert Gottfried, always on the cutting edge of political trends. Watch this clip from Celebrity Apprentice in 2015, where Gilbert Gottfried calls Trump “mein fuhrer” in the boardroom. Trump joked that “only Gilbert could say that.”
Apparently, Trump was wrong.
