Ghost Hunters Destroy 160-Year-Old Historic Building
The LeBeau Plantation House, a landmark in Louisiana’s St. Bernard Parish, was built in the 1850’s. It was sitting vacant while awaiting renovation when seven Texas-based ghost hunters decided to sneak in and investigate the numerous ghost stories involving the building. When no ghosts showed up, they showed their displeasure by torching the whole thing to the ground. Charges have been filed against the seven men.
