KISS’ Gene Simmons wants to profit from the sign of the devil. He claims he invented the hand gesture known as the “Sign of the horns” and has filed a claim for it with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. Simmons says that it was first used for profit in 1974 at the exact same time as the KISS “Hotter Than Hell” tour which used the gesture. If he’s successful at trademarking this sign, he’s going to make a fortune at University of Texas games.
