For those looking for something different this year in the festival circuit, the Fun Fun Fun Fest is celebrating their 10th Anniversary in Austin and in addition to a huge music line up for the fest, they’ve also got big plans for their comedy stage.  , , , , , Sabrina Jalees, , and are all set to perform the  Comedy Yellow Stage. The comedy stage is presented by JASH this year which is the content network founded by , Michael Cera, Tim and Eric and .

Fun Fun Fun Fest co-founder Graham Williams told us that the festival tries to book comedians that fit an edgier more progressive vibe, especially those who can go outside of the expected.  The festival loves to come up with unusual twists and surprises, like the year they brought in YouTube celebrity “shirtless careless whisper sax guy” to interrupt the bands and entertain people in line.  Another year they put together a wedding mid festival for fans with Henry Rollins officiating.  Last year they moved comedian Brian Posehn to the music stage to perform in front of Slayer’s audience just before the band came on.

This year there’s a science theme floating around the festival, and in addition to stand up, the JASH Comedy Stage will feature a NASA scientist who has been huge on the lecture circuit with some cool twists on talking science, as well as some unique performances by Andrew W.K., who will be doing some motivational speaking, GZA who will explain the “science of hip hop,” and don’t miss Master Pancake’s Saturday Morning Cartoons show.  Want to get weirder? Hip Hop artist Big Freedia is giving twerking lessons, there will be Live Wrestling, an Air Sex championship (you know, like air guitar), and a FunFunFun Taco Cannon shooting breakfast tacos at the crowd.  And there will be after parties and local food offerings throughout for festival goers.

It all happens November 6 – 8, 2015. For a complete list of FFF Fest performers, including the 2015 JASH Comedy Yellow Stage artists, visit funfunfunfest.com. Follow them at facebook.com/funfunfunfest and on Twitter @funfunfunfest for updates.
