Friends and Fans Say Goodbye to Ron and Fez on Twitter #GoodbyeRonandFez
Last Friday, as Ron Bennington and Fez Whatley aired their final live show together, fans and guests of the Ron and Fez show sent thousands and thousands of tweets expressing love, appreciation and even doubt about the last Ron and Fez Show.
The outpouring on Twitter for the guys was nothing less than amazing. Tweets came from listeners, co-workers, great comedians who appeared on the show and from anyone who was touched by what Ron and Fez created together. The Twitter response to Ron and Fez signing off after Fez announced his retirement was so immense that #GoodByeRonandFez trended nationwide throughout the last show and for over an hour after it ended.
With about 10,000 tweets to go through, between the #’s and the @’s we couldn’t find every perfect tweet. Some of these are random picks, and some are favorites, and we ended up with this collection of the love, support, sad goodbyes and feelings that appeared on Twitter when people said #GoodByeRonandFez.
